Anybody liking the Little Kennedy side project? I am digging the song and idea of using different artist for each song.

 

Can you elaborate on what it is exactly ?

 

My understanding its a side project from Matt Kennedy of TDS, similar to AJ doing his own thing with Broken Glowsticks. He is features different singers on every track and just released this one this week.

i love how matt and AJ just have such a strong dedication to making art that they think is dope. it seems so simple, but they take it so seriously.

 

Oh snap.. Aaron has been added as an official member on the Dangerous Summer wiki (I attached pic) wonder if the band did that and its truly official? That would rule.

The second I finish recording some songs for my new project I’m sending them to AJ. The community he’s building is something I’d love to be a part of. Fuck traditional labels.

That's terrible, they should get a good lawyer on their end to go to battle (not easy, I know). There is no way they are still unrecouped for those albums, and they deserved to get paid for their art.

Yeah sounds like typical label bullshit. I bet every time they ever had a meeting at the Hopeless offices they got charged the hourly rate of every employee who took part in the meeting. It's sketchy shit.

 

I'm happy to hear the monetary success that the two singles and merch has been getting these past few months. Keep the songs coming and I'll keep streaming! Also will for sure be pre ordering the album whenever it gets announced.
It makes me mad that I own all their albums on vinyl, and stream their music almost daily, and they haven't gotten a dime from that.

 

It sucks cause though it is monetary success in comparison to being on the label, he still deserves more for those streams haha. Fucking sucks to get like 4K after 1 million streams and you’re usually splitting it with others

 

EP on the way! Looks like they decided to leave it at EP versus making it a full album like AJ said they may do. Oh well. Super stoked. 3rd release in 3 years from them.
