It’s an okay song, but I’m not blown away by it. It’s what I would expect for a TDS piano ballad. Now gimme that EP!
I'm blown away. The production. The emotion. The everything. This is my favorite song they've released since... I dont even know when. Its amongst their best. They needed more piano songs in their catalog. Damn.
Why are so many of their choruses so short and simple? It’s been a trend lately for sure. Is this the new wave of songs?
Yeah, song was just okay for me. Like that they are trying something a little different, but just doesn’t do much for me. Ah well!
I enjoyed this! It’s not hitting as hard as Mother Nature but that’s fine. Not expecting that from an EP. I gotta say the addition of the piano was nice and AJ’s voice sounds his best.
First TDS song I heard was permanent rain on pandora back in 2010 or so. Then I discovered the RTFS album and fell in love with the drums (I'm a drummer). War Paint disappointed me a bit, felt way tamed down and uninspired. Then golden record came out and I fell in love again with Ben's playing. Self title just floored me. Mother nature wasn't as impressive but still clean, and had some good ones mixed in. I was heart broken when they announced Ben's departure. Wasn't sure how to feel about Aaron. But after hearing Ben's playing on DIM and Aaron here.... I'm floored again. Aaron sounds like a natural fit and DIM is already giving vibes of some sick grooves from Ben's youtube channel.
For sure man. One thing you can say about TDS is they have amazing taste in drummers. I'd like to read up on War paint again. I recall Tyler wrote the parts but left the band during the recording and the new drummer played the parts he wrote. Or something like that. Then Tyler came back for the tour
A.J just referred to the next release as an album. Hmmmm... lol prob def still an E.P but why not throw 3 more bangers on.
People throw around the term “mature” in music quite often, but I feel like this song and video feels like it fits the term for Dangerous Summer.
Cool song, definitely bigger on this one than "Fuck Them All." I don't think either really live up to anything on Mother Nature, but that's a pretty damn high bar anyway.
This was beautiful. I teared up, not gonna lie. And honestly this IS what I’m expecting at this point. Really hitting their stride.
I wonder if this could be their biggest "hit"... it has the most mainstream sound ive ever heard from them. And its a very simple , short, yet powerful and catchy song. I have a feeling on this one. Gonna be watching the numbers
