Lol definitely not. Anyways, it’s cool to see people enjoying the new stuff. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album, hope it’s as good or better than what we’ve heard so far.
Christian mentioned that the setlist posted is not set in stone, but they are trying to find a good flow.
I was merely saying that maybe if that hiatus and all the issues didn’t happen, they would be bigger than they are now because they never would have stopped. And my apologies, I shouldn’t have taken that dig at you.
I also gotta imagine that the recent shit with Matt has got a lot of promoters hesitant to put them on larger bills.
Yeah they can’t afford any trouble on this summer tour. Hopefully a good tour and solid record will get them back on track here. This whole cycle does feel a lot better, wishful thinking it’s a good sign.
Thanks! I have only spun it a few times so I haven’t bought it yet. But this is a good time to snag it. Now I just need Golden Record and Coming Home.
Same those are the last 2 I need to complete my collection. They’re definitely my least favorite TDS albums, but still I regret not grabbing Coming Home from their merch store back in March when it was like 13 bucks.
I don’t remember the more recent ones, but those initial presses from 2011-2012 were awful. Like, worst vinyl pressing Mt Rushmore
I have an initial pressing and it’s so bad. I would absolutely buy a new pressing, assuming it’s better quality.
I’ve got a handful of albums from the scene that were pressed between like 2009-2012 that just sounds so fucking terrible especially anything from victory records. I’ve got a couple early bayside albums and taking back Sunday albums I’ll never put on my turntable again
Pacific Ocean has quickly become my favorite TDS song since Mother Nature. That Pacific Ocean Goddamn she’s the woman of my dreams I want to dive into her heart I want to run I want to scream I want to hold you down I can listen to that part on repeat all day
Glad we didn't end up with something like "I want to go into her mouth" Dive into her heart is much sweeter.
“Favorite since Mother Nature” is how I’ve been feeling about “What’s An Hour Really Worth,” but “Pacific Ocean” is great too. Really looking forward to this album now, after feeling like this band was kind of cooked two years ago. Which, of course, is a narrative I’ve gone through with them in the past, too.
