I actually like the La La Las and Fuck It. It’s the next line “I’ve been on my shit since day one” that sounds cringey to me. still love the song though
I think infinite is far and away their best song since they reformed. Top 3 TDS song right there. The ending is a religious experience. I hope they keep that as their finale going forward.
Absolutely, one of the best closers ever. It was incredible when I went to the show in Portland and kicked it with him [Aj] and then drove the next day to Seattle and saw them again and he dedicated Infinite to the night we had previously. That song always gives me a special vibe now.
i appreciate this post I hope the rest of the album knocks it out of the park the single is good not great but I’m hopeful
Love the Sentiment there. And I am of the ones that thinks the Single is truly Great. It has so many different layers to it versus recent output. It seems like they are implying that Coming Home was Half Baked in a way. Or at least that's how it feels to me. Like they were finding their footing, and then they moved to their Producers New Million Dollar studio they built, and then recorded Gravity and it all clicked. Even the new drummer Christian said that in his post, that they found their process on this one
It makes sense. As Coming Home was the first time for two of the members to be working with the band, there’s bound to be some growing pains.
not bad. some parts I really like, a few parts I don't. i wish they would make something that sounded as good as mother nature again but oh well
New single "What's An Hour Really Worth?" out on April 24. I'll probably hold off on listening to any more singles until the album comes out though.
