I was surprised too. When they first reunited it was way more first 2 albums. But now they have mother nature, the EP, and coming home it seems they lean more towards the newer stuff

 

I'm not totally sure of this, but I have a hunch they may make their setlist based off of which of their songs on spotify have the most streams.. it seems to line up with the setlist in a way . Sincerely, Sherlock Holmes

 

But No One's Gonna Need You More is one of their highest streamed songs and they're not even playing that.

 

Looks like my theory was easily dismantled lol.. I am only able to see the top 5 songs and their numbers on spotify and they are all in the playlist.. but you are correct. I do recall that one in the list before. Wonder why they dropped it

 

Have been coming back to this for the first time since it came out and I'm prepared to eat some crow. I don't know if it's the change in weather or I'm more removed from my initial expectations but I think it's a solid release now, albeit not on the level of their best work. For an album that largely stays pretty mid-tempo, it flows really well and I'm enjoying even those songs in the middle that didn't catch me before. It does have much more of a fall vibe to it and I'm looking forward to putting it on more.

 

I really haven’t felt much urge to come back to it at all, even stand-alone songs.

 

I really like about half the other half isn’t for me. I’ll take it! These guys keep crankin' out new music, so there's always somethin' for everybody.

 

Goodbye really grew to be a front runner for me. I'm going to revisit full album here soon. Haven't been as drawn to go back but we shall see how it holds up

How was the show?

 

So much of this reminds me so much of third eye blind

 

Fucking awesome. That was the first time I’ve seen em and it was truly great. Really small venue, you could walk right up to the stage. He came out during 2 songs and played in the crowd, including infinite at the end.

everyone sounded on point, Aj’s voice was tip top

 

Fuuuuckk.. I didn't have infinite at my show! That's more or less my favorite song by them. Happy you had a blast

 

They're saying the next album may be called "Gravity"
