I am a massive fan of Keith's clean vocals so I fuck with this. He's just too good

 

I think I am really going to enjoy this album.

 

Heard from a friend that it was Halestorm but I have nothing to back that up.

so many riffs. i really love the balance of this so far between heavy and melodic also.

 

CPing my thoughts from the metal thread:

"The new Damned Things is solid. I like Ironiclast more upon first listen, but the guitarwork and Keith's vocals make me want to come back to it. That said, I almost turned off the album when Something Good first came on because that gang chanting harsed my mellow. Whoever thought putting that track after a barn burner like Cells did not make a good decision."

Cells, The Fire is Cold, and Let Me Be (Your Girl) are my standouts on first listen.

 

Yeah, Keith’s vocals sound so good.

Invincible, Storm Charmer, and Young Hearts are my standouts.

Album is a fun listen.

Real question is do any songs slap and have as big an ear worm hook as “A Great Reckoning”?

Also hey the gang vocals in Something Good are cool sorry not sorry

 

agree to disagree. i wouldn't mind it as much if it were like the fifth track in, but it loses so much momentum for me with it being the track after cells. plus it just sounds hokey. it's the biggest curveball for me on an otherwise solid album.

 

gang vocals are extremely my jam so can't wait to listen to this later
