Thanks for making the thread! Never really thought I'd see them, much less at MSG in my ideal seat in the Chase Bridges for only $40. I'm so excited for this
Sure thing! With how much talk there was on it, I figured a thread made the most sense. Super hyped for the SD show. Gonna make a weekend trip out of it
I was dealing with the after effects of a stroke the last time they toured the US so my tickets went unused (blasphemous!). I’m super excited to attend in June to make up for that missed opportunity.
I have floor seats for one of the MSG shows and a decent seat for the Philly show. First time seeing these legends and super excited.
They were soooo good tonight in San Diego. Robert Smith sounds just like he did 30 years ago. They dropped a few songs from the setlist I was stoked to hear but I got to fulfill a bucket list event which was seeing Pictures Of You performed in person. Robert also made it sound like they’ll tour again soon? He said “thank you, and we’ll see you again” after their show tonight
I’ve been refreshing for like 4 straight days to get a ticket for any of the Hollywood Bowl shows and finally got one last night. Going tomorrow! So excited! Second time seeing them
Secured my ticket for MSG on 6/20. I guess, in this case, I'm happy NY has laws about tickets being non-transferrable because I was able to get one (price wasn't too bad either).
I'll be at the MSG the next night. And philly that Saturday! All I need to hear to be happy is Disintegration. Thats my fav song of all time.
Im going to Philly and havent received my ticket yet. What section and row are you? I have someone possibly interested if its same section as me
I know they are going to give you the ticket very close to the show, how close I have no idea so you might have a window to transfer it.
I'm going tomorrow at MSG, I started their discography yesterday & I'm finishing this afternoon. I was never a huge fan, but they're someone I've always wanted to cross off my bucket list, & I'm really excited to see them tomorrow
Saw this show twice this week (MSG & Philly) and I will say that it was pretty good. My only complaints (and this is just solely me as it may be unpopular opinion) is the show was too long at 2 hours 45 mins. Should have been like 2 hours, 2.25 tops. There just wasnt enough energy. Band did sound great, but the middle of the 29 song set just dragged/ But that encore was non-stop bangers. Felt like that part was rushed both nights though.
you mimicked my review, two hours and 50 mins or what was their allotted time for pacing and stuff was too long. Especially when they just stood there with changeable digital backgrounds. They sounded excellent, but just a ton of recent stuff kills the crowd and momentum until the encore. It was a very good show, not a great show. Still had fun and glad I went.
