after my two concrete faves I mentioned I think Wish, Faith and Bloodflowers round out my top 5. you know it's an absolutely insane discog when Porno doesn't crack that tier for me lol, truly one of the best bands
Disintigration from me. Also that title track is my fav Cure song. So happy I finally got to see it performed live last year.
I need to try a discog run again, I've always struggled with that isn't Disintegration or the goth trilogy (I adore Seventeen Seconds).
I’ve heard 7 songs from it live and I’ve basically given up on ever hearing studio versions. The songs were really good too, what a shame!
they have to record all the disposable pop songs they're gonna put on the album so all the great darker stuff can be b-sided. no I'm not bitter what do you mean
Two albums I've been spending a lot of time with this last week or so: Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me & 4:13 Dream Kiss Me is so fun. I see why a lot people enjoyed it and still enjoy it, especially my sister. Fun fact....It's my favorite birthday year album. There are some amazing pop songs on there. Now for 4:13 Dream....I'm guilty of not spending a lot of time with the album since it's been out, but I do think this album is sooooo overlooked. It came out in 2008, but the whole album screams 1990's to me. Underneath the Stars has gotta be their most underrated opening song.
Last night I watched an interview with Robert from 2012 and he was asked about another Trilogy tour. At the time he said he had actually thought about having a second Reflections show consisting of The Top, Head On The Door, and Kiss Me and how nice that show would be. So I immediately made a playlist with those 3 albums and it freakin works haha. Highly Recommend that listen.
Live versions of new songs being officially released before the actual studio versions does not make me optimistic.
I’ve given up on ever getting the album honestly. Which sucks, I really like the… 7 songs I’ve heard from it live haha
Updated website with registration for a mailing list, new social media logos… Curefans.com also has a contest going for a vinyl copy of the new album, if you can guess the release date. Seems like things are finally happening.
