Kind of wish they spread out the more popular songs. Feels like I’m gonna struggle commuting that 1st encore
Didn't end up going to the pdx date cause I had to work late and was done with life by the time I got home but I'm riding the train from pdx to Seattle rn to go tonight and like the entire train is going to see the cure and it's v cute hearing all the fans so excited.
I'm so torn cus I'm seeing Paramore in Columbus next weekend and my plan was to go from there to Cleveland for the Cure. But that was before I found out about Riot Fest. I know I really really should just settle with Riot for financial reasons, but stuff like ^^that is making it such a hard decision.
Been revisiting The Cure a lot recently in order to (hopefully) see them at one of their 3 MSG dates. The trifecta of Kiss Me Kiss Me - Disintegration - Wish is fantastic in terms of their sound and structure.
Less than 2 weeks until I finally get to cross these guys off my bucket list! Going to night 2 at MSG and the show in Philly. Praying to here my all time fav song Disintegration live one of those nights.
Seeing them tonight!! Been diving into their records a lot more (listened to disintegration mainly previously) and I think head on the door may be my second favorite! A perfect bridge between their modes. Need to listen to kiss me More since it’s so sprawling, but that’s an incredible run
Two tickets to Slowdive at a 1500 cap venue costing me as much at two tickets to The Cure at an 18k cap arena is the perfect punctuation to this whole Robert Smith vs Ticketmaster saga. He really worked for us
Saw them on Sunday, they're just unreal live. Was thrilled to get Charlotte Sometimes, Prayers for Rain and Disintegration.
man Head on the Door really is one of the greatest of all time. just astonishingly creative and beautiful stuff
