Following you on there, you can kindly ignore my love of 2010 over 2001 though... Followed. Following you now also, especially since you love both Jaws and Tombstone which is also a plus. Here's mine if anyone else is interested - Jake’s profile
alright, folks. today marks the first of our weekly cult movie discussion. we'll be kicking things off with Eraserhead. the discussion will end on Sunday at midnight. we will also need to come to a consensus before then as to what our next pick should be. this should be a lot of fun and I'm so excited we're doing this. let's go!
I forgot how great the whole family dinner part is. I think the whole movie is such a fantastic debut, he really nailed his style/vibe from the beginning.
I haven't seen Eraserhead in nearly 20 years, and it went WAY over my head then. Will try to give a rewatch this week if time permits.
I fucked up and played video games all day yesterday and forgot to watch and it wouldn’t be able to for a few days, I’d be happy to watch it the coming week but I did just see it a few months ago so if you all wanna move on without me feel free and I’ll participate in the next one
Add me to the list of people needing another week. Although, dont wait on me bc I might still not get to it this week.
Chopping Mall is so good omg "You smell like pepperoni." "Well if that's how you're gonna be..." "Wait a minute...I like pepperoni."
so I guess we’ll do two weeks on all of these in the future. I’m planning on watching it again in the next few days. if this one goes poorly then we’ll just try it again the next week. any suggestions for what movie we should discuss next?
here's a few ideas I had: El Topo Hausu Pink Flamingos Under the Skin True Romance Night of the Living Dead Koyannisqatsi 3 Women Branded to Kill
Under the Skin and 3 Women would probably be my top choices from that particular list. El Topo is the only one I have zero interest in discussing after what Jodorowsky said about the filming.
