The Crow (Rupert Sanders, 2024)

WHy was The Crow a 'Cult Classic' ? I liked the movie, I liked the music.... But explain again 'why' I like the movie? Lol.

 

I tried watching it recently and couldn't stand the aesthetic or plot.

 

Alex Proyas is directing this? The original is perfect, feels unnecessary

I'm excited to find out about the sountrack for the new movie since the original is so iconic

1st soundtrack was great, movie was definitely a cult fave. Didnt do well at my theater, but the people that did come were young teens. They enjoyed it. 20 somethings as well.

I dont want a remake. I thought the first was spot on.

 

I know this is probably a joke, but by the looks of Skarsgård, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised.

 

"The Crow but he is a Soundcloud rapper" is the funniest premise that I never knew I actually wanted lol

All respect to Skarsgard, I really just don't think anyone can deliver the same kind of corny dialogue with as much sincerity as Lee. If they try, they'll fail, and if they do something different, they'll likely miss the point. I can't think of many more movies I would less want to see remade than this one. It's such a perfect time and place film.
