I forgot I had unused codes in my email so I got Paris, Texas on 4K for $22 including shipping, made out like a bandit.

 

Btw since CC is doing a 30% off sale on their website, I implore peeps to get Paper Moon on 4K. It’s a truly fantastic release from Criterion in terms of packaging and presentation, it’s a true American classic and more people should watch it.

Godzilla vs Biollante finally coming back in print, and in 4K no less, is the best news ever.

Now criterion just needs to give me Godzilla vs King Ghidorah and Godzilla vs Mothra from the 90’s and I’ll be a happy man.

 

I’ll pick up Biollante. Many of the Heisei films are still waiting to be restored in 4K within Japan. We’re years away from a 4K Heisei boxset

 

I’m content with my current Heisei double feature blurays for now, but those 3 were so pricy I couldn’t justify them. Glad I’ll be able to cross one off the list.

Been waiting to see Choose Me for a while

 

I’ve seen people excited for Choose Me. Def gonna upgrade my copy of Thief.

 

My copy of Paris, TX didn’t come today, I was big sad at the mail.

 

Paris, Texas and No Country For Old Men are en route to me now, can’t wait to check out the 4K transfers for both.

 

For anyone on letterboxd that wants to follow along, I'm doing the Criterion Challenge this year which is basically 52 Criterion released films throughout the year.
