Beyond excited that they're finally releasing a second volume to the World Cinema Project. The last one had some incredible discoveries in it and this looks even better. Mysterious Object at Noon and Taipei Story are the obvious draw (and I'm so excited to finally see the latter), but I've had an interest in Verite for a while too, so that's another cool addition. Long overdue on that Jeanne Dielman upgrade too.
I'm sure the whole World Cinema Project will be a treasure but more Edward Yang alone is worth the price.
Not a Criterion collector, but I ordered the Before Trilogy because duh. It just came in the other day. I just re-watched the trilogy late last year, so I probably won't watch these for a while. I like the packaging, and the booklet is cool, though I haven't read it yet.
Damn, hope you enjoy it! We've got a 35mm print showing this Thursday and I'm so excited to finally see it on the big screen.
Super excited for Stalker and L'argent. Both are well overdue for a rewatch. Of course the month they announce the War Trilogy upgrade is when I finally pulled the trigger on the BFI set.
I wish they would do Social Network or Dragon Tattoo. The two releases they have are my two least favorite Fincher movies. Then again, the Blu-rays for these two are already pretty robust.
Crazy pants. Watched it recently when filmspotting did it for their sacred cow review and it honestly held up even better than I expected it to.
