Watched Keane (2004) on the Criterion Channel last night and it's a small indie w/ Damian Lewis, Amy Ryan, and Abigail Breslin that I literally never heard of before it was added and wow it was incredible. Definitely gives off a major Safdie Brothers vibe

I definitely have the blu ray, probably won’t upgrade but this is really gonna chap my ass every month when this happens. Fortunately blu rays are pretty great.

Had a $10 code from the Channel so picked up:

Don't Look Back (adding to my current Bob Dylan obsession)
Bottle Rocket (completing my Wes Anderson CC collection)
inland Empire (which leaves Blue Velvet, Elephant Man, and Eraserhead to complete my Lynch collection, but I don't really care that much for the latter two)

this reminded me that I was super close to the threshold when I looked the other day, totally gonna order something else to get it for next time.

Got Steve Zissou, bringing my Wes Anderson collection one away from completion (Bottle Rocket). Also used a random generator to help me pick a random one to get. Ended up getting Thief

  16. I almost never buy physical media, aside from vinyl, but I had to grab Inland Empire

A really good month here. I think there’s a Scorsese plan at this point. 1-2 per year until everything is in the collection.
