any of y'all good at telling if a FB marketplace vendor is a scam or not? Ive been out of the loop and tryna buy some movies but not sure how much BS is on there. Is this one like obvious no good? Lol https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/472679487997143/?hoisted=false&ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp:c665ae09-5019-4995-b66d-9edb26c05e0c&__tn__=!:D
Looks legit. You could try it and pay with goods and services and then you are covered for 6 months if you need to file a claim and get your money back. Or you can ask them to send you an invoice through PayPal. Does the same 6 month coverage.
Will be going into this completely cold within the next couple days Probably gonna succumb to a bigger B&N haul before the sale is over
its SO mesmerizing. love the way it divies out details in the most understated/subdued way. you're in for a treat imo
Was just able to order the 4K release of In the Mood for Love. It's currently only $25 on Amazon. Only $14 for shipping across the Pacific. Still paid less than full price in total.
Also, worth noting for King Hu fans. A new Taiwanese documentary called The King of Wuxia was shown and had quite the array of footage showing the filming locations used in his films and how they look today along with interviews with several prominent actors from his filmography. I highly suggest checking it out once it is available to rent or stream. I believe it recently won at the Golden Horse Awards for best documentary film. Also, never thought I'd see the Marvel Cinematic Universe referenced in a King Hu documentary. lol
Curious how Inland Empire will look, I didn't get a chance to catch the rerelease in theaters. For those curious, iirc the original MiniDV tapes were unusable, so they took the HD upscale from the original release, downscaled it to it's original quality, then used modern AI upscaling to 4K.
