Reminds me of a place near me called devil’s stomping ground. Supposedly if you camp within that area you’ll wake up in a different spot

My friend is engaged to the stepson of a Ghost Hunter so I asked her for any insider info. She hasn’t gotten any yet

Hm. The former definitely. I don’t believe the latter either but her future step dad sure has. He has a wiki page and everything

Growing up right next to the Appalachian mountains I’ve definitely heard my fair share of weird tales. Haven’t seen anything myself though

Honestly I think the order we released them in works the best if you watch all of them. My favorite one is The Conjuring House though, both in terms of quality of the video and overall experience of the investigation

I think it’s just implied that it’s real. Vice was in contact with law enforcement about it it seems.

My conspiracy theory hat tells me that the headline is a bit clickbaity, though. There’s been plenty of other real snuff films that exist/get passed around for money

The shooter today, along with the recent rash of swatting calls to universities, are tied to this group

Yooo wtf. The US military shot a hellfire missile at a UFO and it bounced off??

  18. Yeah, pretty crazy footage if legitimate. I don't want to question evidence that compelling, but it was provided completely anonymously and I did read a couple of analyses claiming it was footage of a target flare.

If it is real, it both amazing and worrisome for several reasons - mostly that we'd be firing Hellfire missiles at it in the first place

  19. Age of Disclosure doc is out today. Not sure how much new information there is or if it's more of the same grifter stuff, but I'm interested in seeing it when I can find it for not $20 on Amazon

So I watched The Age of Disclosure last night. Particularly if you have not been a follower of the progression of UAP disclosure and events over the years, this is a freakishly credible, fascinating, terrifying blockbuster of a documentary, featuring interviews with over 30 members of the legislative, intelligence, military and scientific communities. No matter where you stand on the topic, there's no denying that it is, at the very least, eyebrow-raising, and the film will probably leave you saying, if nothing else, "hmm."

However - something more relevant to the members of the Chorus community - if this is, in fact, an issue you have followed, it is impossible to overlook the fact that there is one person very noticeably absent from this movie: Tom DeLonge. Who is not only not interviewed, but is not even mentioned once.

This is particularly interesting when you consider that the major players central to the film are all people he brought together and surrounded himself with at his To The Stars company, which - as much as we can all say about the, I'll say, flimsiness of the appearance of that operation - spearheaded the release of the most infamous UFO videos in existence.

The fact that his (admittedly, bizarre) involvement in this issue is not even acknowledged makes me wonder if he was essentially set up to be a Trojan Horse patsy for this movement (which I know was the subject of online chatter when he was his most visible and vocal). It’s certainly conceivable that these intelligence officials made this eccentric rockstar the vessel for getting this information out so he could look crazy and be marginalized, all while ensuring the information would get out and they could come behind him to give it the credibility it deserves.

Maybe! I could be completely wrong. It’s also conceivable that this doc wanted to have its subjects be exclusively government players to lend maximum credibility to the subject matter (which they do). If you throw an eccentric rockstar into the mix, you risk having the perception of a “tinfoil hat contingent” taint what is, at its core, a pretty captivating piece of informational filmmaking.

It’s also possible that Tom (and the entire blink camp) decided that, upon returning to blink, he no longer foregrounds this part of his life. He (and Mark and Travis, really) doesn’t give many interviews anymore and doesn’t seem to talk much about this stuff publicly, so it’s possible that this has been a decision he’s made for his life and participating in projects like this just doesn’t fit for him anymore.

Who knows! I just wanted to say that, regardless of the why, it is…interesting.

Aside from this Tom stuff, the doc is definitely aimed at those who are completely out of the loop on all of this; haven't seen the videos, are unaware of the government hearings and disclosures, have never heard the acronyms UAP or AATIP. If you have even marginally followed this stuff over the years, there's pretty much nothing in here that you haven't seen or heard. Which isn't a knock on it at all. Its just clear that this film was meant to be a foundational piece for people, not supplementary.

  21. The documentary is very interesting, although I found the "bipartisan" mentions difficult to take seriously when you've got stock Tucker Carlson clips and one of your talking heads is Anna Paulina Luna. Just so much News Nation (Fox) footage. It's strange that UFOs have never seemed more legitimate, and also never more like a grift.

Airbnb just started a new feature where you can gig out tourist experiences that you'd normally see in excursion packages.

A thousand new one person local ghost tours were just born.
