Blew my mind that back then kids weren't immediately searched for when they went missing. That police waited 72 (or 48) hours before doing ANYTHING in 1985 or right around there - barely 30 years ago - is just baffling. That case changed so many laws and regulations.

I don’t know if any of you browse No Sleep, but I’d you’re unfamiliar, it’s a sub where people write stories as if they are true. You can’t acknowledge that they are fabricated in the story or in the comments. Anyways, this one is a classic and really creepy. Parts 1 and 2 are really good and then it gets pretty silly, but it’s worth it for the first two parts.
