I'm a Ghost Adventures fan but I used to watch Ghost Hunters back in the day until I realized that it was boring. One of the GH investigators lives in the next town over so I see him a the mall all the time. Last night I saw him at the fair going into the haunted house ride alone. It was perfect.

this really creepy emergency alert went out on the local news affiliate in central NY (where I'm from). Found a vid of it here on FB:

Wow. We got this too. I was falling asleep while napping and thought I dreamed it so I never thought twice about it. Scary.

 

going back to the creepy guy who was in that Chicago flat for a moment:

1) it almost looks like at first the burglar is freaked out that the people are sleeping on the couch. kind of an, "oh shit" moment for him.

2) he then realizes that Fight Club is what they're watching, which explains why he stands there for a few minutes as well. i mean, come on, great film and what an experience this is right - stealing from an occupied house while watching Fight Club! yolo or whatever kids say these days, amiright?!

3) that's an awesome looking flat and now want one just like it, minus the intruder

 

What would have made the video for me is if he had jumped from the loft and did a piledriver onto them/their bed and bolted.

 

Somebody did something similar in my small town in Montana a couple years ago.

 

I have an irrational fear of being murdered. My mom was going in and out of my sliding back door today and now it won't lock. The creepy glass door with no curtains.

edit: I blocked the track with some odds and ends so it can't be opened. Theoretically if someone really wanted to get in I'm sure they could hit the door hard enough to make the objects fall out and I know realistically that nobody is gonna do that but I'm still anxious and every lil noise I hear I'm like ahh someone is trying to get in!

 

Fuck all of these clown situations happening around the country. What a horrible time to be alive.

 

Someone in my town did a clown sighting video as a joke to try to scare people / secretly promote a haunted house they are running in the next town over, and its being posted all over facebook like its real.

What a shitty prank, someone is going to get hurt or parents are going to be afraid to let their kids out of the house.

 

@Kiana Along with the odds and ends, if you have something like a bicycle, lean it in front of your sliding glass door so it falls if someone happens to get it past the stuff stuck in the track. That's what I do anyway.

 

This clown shit in Philly is getting ridiculous. My school got targeted

 

I wish I did! I've been trying to think of something to lean against it without calling attention like "hey strangers, this door is clearly being blocked cause it's unlocked!!" The odds and ends already makes me kinda nervous for that reason. Apparently I'm convinced a murderer really wants to get in here lol

 

speaking of clowns, there have been numerous 911 calls the last two nights of people dressed as clowns knocking on windows and looking in windows during the night time / waving to people inside / giggling.

creepy, creepy shit. the end is nigh.

 

One of those clowns is gonna mess with the wrong ppl eventually
