Pretty standard plot, elevated by the cinematography and art direction. I’m in

I'm definitely getting a little tired of the "on a mission, ends up needing to protect child" plot device that's been so prolific lately. That being said, this looks awesome.

Got my tickets for the opening Friday showing of this. Looks great and like it'll tick all the boxes of what i look for in a modern sci fi flick. I may hold off on checking the tomatoescore or anything, as i dont want to my risk tainting my own first impressions.

most reactions are pretty much beaming, makes me feel a bit weirder for not being all that excited for it to being with

 

I've seen some middling sentiments about different aspects, but it sounds like this absolutely delivers on the visuals and filmmaking. Can't wait.
