Enjoyed it. Spooky enough. A bit all over the place and silly but oh well.

 

It was alright. Didn't enjoy it as much as the first two. If they make a 4th I hope they make it more along the lines of the first 2. This one seemed to focus more on detective work and less on the spooky.

 

This sucked. I’m convinced the only good movie in the conjuring universe is the first one. I know people like the second movie as well, but the cgi monster that came out of the kids tent was so fucking cheesy

 

This sucked shit and was super corny. Terrible terrible writing.

 

Idk I liked it! The beginning sequence ruled, and it was entertaining throughout

 

The main antagonist was also just all around creepy.

 

I just don't like how we turn a hyper Christian conservative couple, who were incredibly exploitative, into basically detective superheroes. So fucking weird.

 

Was just okay for me. Was bored for a while, but I still enjoyed the characters.

 

Did anyone else get big Shining vibes at the end btw or was that just me?

 

I’m about 75% through and I seriously couldn’t give less of a shit. I LOVE the first, liked the second, but this is just meh.

 

Basically how I felt about it.

 

This movie didn't do much for me. I wish they'd have focused more on the kid's possession. The marketing had me under the impression that would be the focus. The beginning 10 minutes or so involving that was fun and engaging but the rest is a snoozefest.

 

I thought this was just all around bad. The Conjuring has sort of become the Fast and Furious of horror. Just throw a bunch of loud shit at the wall and hope something sticks.

 

Do not speak ill of the fast and furious movies please.

wow they have absolutely no faith in the moviegoing public haha. like the film isn't any clearer as is, it's just a lame human villain and a bunch of characters talking about a demon that we confusingly never see

 

So im rewatching the "conjuring universe". Rewatching 1 and 2...and I never saw any Annabelle or nun.

Holy hell the quality difference from conjuring world to Annabelle world is astounding. I thought the first Annabelle was bad but the one with the orphan farm was even worse. It shows you how the "haunted house" genre is all about writing, direction, acting and there's a thin line between super generic and amazing.

I'll watch conjuring 3 sometime this week

 

I loved the 1st movie, thought the 2nd was OK and I really wanted to like this one seeing I work in Brookfield, CT. But... I couldn't finish it. I lost interest just after halfway. I'm sure I'll eventually finish it.

 

Watch the last Annabelle movie. It's good.

 

Haha watched it the other day. Theyre all awful for different reasons.

Anabelle Comes Home ruled. Truly one of the best of the series for the direction that was taken with it. It was a fun teen horror movie with Goosebumps vibes.
