Terrible Things were hit or miss with their songs, but I absolutely loved this one song from that last EP he put out: I don't think many people even knew about this. He was labeless and bandless. He self produced the EP and shot the video himself.
Imagine this band with Fred AND John. They'd write an album worth of amazing songs and break up before they ever released it.
Expectations were high as fuck when the news broke that they’d gotten back together. Aside from like 3 songs, the reunion of the original lineup really fell flat to me. But that has made me find new appreciation for the stuff between TAYF and the reunion a lot more. During the Fred/Fazzi years, I only wanted John back. But now...I’d take Fred or Fazzi back anyday of the week. (As long as they’d still play “Flicker Fade” and “El Paso” live)
