I remember watching The Color Fred at the 08 Warped Tour. It was great. I believe it was TCF, We The Kings, and TDWP back-to-back. 16 year old me was exhausted.

this is awesome. i think 08 was when i really got into "the scene" or whatever and this is hitting a lot of nostalgia for me. I think I inadvertently saw AVA four times that year

    This tour was amazing.

I was fortunate enough to see TCF touring around the release of the debut record at a small club.

The Pink Spiders opened. God damn middle school was cool.

    I feel so old haha.

  11. I met Tom for the first time during this tour. They did a meet and greet at a local record store, and I didn't even go to the show that night, haha.

In 2007, I saw The Color Fred open up for Straylight Run, which I always thought was wild considering John and Fred's background. Sidenote, Cassino was also on that tour and it fucking ruled.

super rough. can't help but wonder how that song would've sounded with Adam singing the leads with Fred on backup.

I had the pleasure of meeting Fred before his show at a local venue on the first TCF tour. He was the first "famous" musician I'd met and was incredibly humble and cool to talk to. This doc really hits me in the nostalgia.

I also really enjoyed the TT record, wish I could have caught them live.

Adam's voice live is trash so it probably would've been worse, haha

So my shitty old band played the local side stage at the Milwaukee date of this tour. I got to meet Tom for a quick sec, just shook his hand, told him I'm a huge fan and it was dope to meet him, then realized I was wearing my +44 hoodie, whoooops.

  23. Look at that, the entire crowd not on their smartphone waiting for them to start, haha. What a difference 11 years makes.
