Been seeing a lot of talk that the story is being moved forward in the timelines. The Magician's Nephew appears to be set in the 1950s and not the 1890s anymore based on set leaks. Kinda wild considering how integral WW2 is to TLTWATW that it would effectively be set in the 2000s using the same gap.

 

Sigh, hope that's not true. Gonna be hard to capture the same charm if they change the era the story takes place.

I read The Magician's Nephew and TLWW as a kid and loved both. I just picked up all seven books and I plan to read them before the movie. I like these cast announcements.

Netflix must of been really impressed with what they seen to give Greta the full worldwide theatrical release!

 

Glad it’s getting a theatrical release. Even trade for a delay

 

dealing w/ less competition this way
