I kind of fell off KK. Baptised Imagination’s themes appealed to me but never got round to listening.
To be honest, me too - they peaked for me with Beyond Control. Zeal is pretty good but feels too chaotic most days, and I can't say Baptized Imagination really drew me in. The new record seems solid so far, but I'll have to give it a few more spins to tell if it's a keeper.
not sure how well-known they are on this site (or at least outside of this thread!) but I was asked by a friend to put feelers out for anyone willing to part with Kings Kaleidoscope vinyl he didn't tell me any specific releases
they’re definitely known in this thread. I don’t have anything to part with though. They’re on tour now and might have vinyl with them. Want me to check it out when I see them next month?
Kings Kaleidoscope vinyl will be very difficult to track down...their stuff sells out quickly and unless it's repressed, the secondary market is the only place they show up.
yeah that's what he told me - "if you can think of anywhere to ask anyone about kings vinyl please do" lol and yes he is going to see them in Fort Worth on Saturday
P.O.D.'s New Single 'Drop' To Feature LAMB OF GOD's RANDY BLYTHE, 'Veritas' Album Due In Early 2024 New P.O.D. album Veritas comes out early next year. Has guest spots from Randy Blythe, Cove Reber, and Tatiana Shmailyuk. Exciting stuff.
Need to see this. gofundme page: SUPPORT: Contemporary Christian Music Documentary, organized by Jason Ikeler
...POD featuring Cove Reber??? Wild, lol. Haven't listened to them in forever, but definitely curious to hear that track.
The full double album version of Lauren Daigle’s self-titled is out today, and it’s all quite good, imo! The first “Christian album” or whatever I’ve loved in a long time. Just really good vibes for the soul; easily gonna be somewhere in my top few of the year.
My friend Jake Furman, who leads worship at my church, released a new single that’s really good, imo! https://spotify.link/ogv97JQw7Cb
I listened to this yesterday and really enjoyed it. Based on songs like “Lost Boys”, “Losing My Head”, “Better Than It Ever Was”, and “When The Lights Go Out” it sounds like he’s been going through a faith struggle/deconstruction period as well.
