Hopefully a new golden era is on the horizon. I'll never forget the time in my teens when T&N were releasing some of the most cutting edge, pioneering bands in the scene.
I can't get over how great Off Road Minivan is. Dude's voice is so much like Jon Bunch and the melodies soar. Album is so killer.
I appreciate Off Road Minivan for their understated dad hats...my favorite band merch in a long time. Music is great too haha
Yeah do it. Love both hats. I'm weird about hats...I want something that's cool, understated and no one knows/recognizes. Difficult criteria to meet and those hats hit the nail on the head.
Hey everyone! I’m new here in the forums but I’ve been a lurker and fan of Jason’s site dating back to AbsolutePunk. Just wanted to drop a line in this thread about some bands as well as encourage everyone to check out new albums from Nate Parrish (Punk Rock), American Arson, Dens, Tigerwine, Off Road Minivan, Lifelong, Idle Threat, Deathbreaker, Nothing Left, My Epic, and more. New Everything in Slow Motion and Slick Shoes out this year as well. If you like supporting indie diy labels, check out all the bands on Indie Vision Music (IVM) right now with new stuff like Grandpa Loves Rhinos, Names Without Numbers, Heart Like War, Slow Coming Day, Craig’s Brother, The Blamed, No Lost Cause, Mainframe, Light The Way, and new stuff from Homeplate (Pop-Punk), At The Wayside (Pop-Punk), and maybe a band called Last Chance Marie very soon. All digital networks or in our bandcamp page Music.Indievisionmusic.com
Is Last Chance Marie connected to Children 18:3 in any way? Also, I like what you're doing with vinyl releases. Still hoping you can issue the Hangnail live album on vinyl.
Thanks! I wish I could do that but it probably isn’t going to happen. Would be smart for T&N to release though then head into a new album.
no, Last Chance Marie are not connected to Children 18:3 as far as I know. They are a great punk rock band though in the vein of Alkaline Trio, Sugarcult, Unritten Law, and MxPx.
Indie Vision Music is an amazing place. I've discovered so many amazing bands and albums through that site that have inspired my own music and @brandonivm and everyone have always been so supportive. Be sure to check it out and throw your support! Brandon, so good to see you here brother!! As you can see, this is the one place I still have my old username.
Haha, you're cool my friend. Thanks for being a part of IVM and for the support. I can't believe it has taken me this long to come back to Chorus.fm and post in the forums.
the end of IVM 1.0 is what led me to ap/chorus. still check out the new site occasionally, so welcome, @brandonivm!
The Juliana Theory - Emotion is Dead vinyl preorder is up now. That 'Emo is Dad' shirt is great Emotion Is Dead Red & Blue : TANR : MerchNOW - Your Favorite Band Merch, Music and More TJT - Emotion Is Dead Album Tee
I have a copy from the first pressing, but this is still tempting. On the original release, the second half of the final track is cut off.
How did I manage to sleep on A Hope for Home? In Abstraction is a seriously great album. Also, they seem to be hinting at new material on their Instagram.
I freaking love this song. This album surprised me. It's nicely filling the void that Paper Route left.
