There will be a vinyl pressing for Bleach’s Fox Den recordings, according to a reply I just got from one of the band members asking about it.

    I do not exist.

Just relistening to Levi The Poet’s Cataracts for the first time in a while. Possibly one of the best faith ‘deconstruction’ albums - so sensitively done, jarring, honest, full of grace and forgiveness. It’s remarkable really. I know the poetry spoken word hasn’t always been for everyone, but on this record I think the balance with hiphop, the contrast between heavy and light, was all perfect to capture the mood.

It’s a shame there has never been a follow up as this one felt like he needed to get a lot off his chest after Mars Hill and about life in general, but from following him on Instagram I think he’d have some wonderful things to say about faith and life now that would contrast nicely with the heaviness and tone of this one.

    Keep Forgiving is so good.

also hoping for a follow up before too long. a collab with Garrett Russell from Silent Planet would be rad.

They should totally do that. That would actually be incredible.

  9. Run Kid Run reunion playing This Is Who We Are in the Chicago suburbs? Sign me up. Haven't seen the Fold in almost 20 years either, and Punchline is a nice bonus.

Wild. Also The Fold headlining above Punchline? Hmm

  12. Local-ish show plus Lego song draw probably does that

I appreciate the success they had with the Lego stuff because I'm sure it helped Dan financially, but it made me miss The Fold doing their regular thing...although they have released albums since. Shrug

I remember really liking the first four songs of This Too Shall Pass but feeling like the album fell off a cliff after that. Idk maybe I'll spin it tonight

Living in Pittsburgh, I have no handle on how popular Punchline is outside of here.

  17. This is absolutely the case but those four songs are some of the best of that era.
