People don’t realize how hard 80s/90s smitty went. He was a bonafide pop star.

So glad this was still available, I've been checking all weekend. I'm so excited for whatever they have planned for 2026

I had this old VHS tape I used to watch all the time that was like a documentary about him with a lot of footage from his shows that I used to watch all the time.

Have there been any good recent releases from non problematic Christian artists? Preferably newer artists/ bands.

John Van Deusen, Jon Guerra, Former Ruins, and Andy Gullahorn all come to mind.

The band let me know more copies of their green variant would go up online at some point, non-numbered ones. So there should be another chance to get one.

Great recs, but I'm pretty sure all of these guys are over 40.

Are there really no young progressive Christians making good music?

Found out Jennifer Knapp re-recorded Kansas last year, which is cool. Love the idea of the Jennifer Knapp of today singing the songs from the start of her “CCM” days.

I can’t tell if folks are trolling or not…. lol. As a white guy who’s almost 40, that’s definitely my music demographic too… so yeah..

Semler is younger and not male. I like them a lot.

  24. awakeohsleeper

    I do not exist.

Liz Vice would be my pick, although not checked out her release from this year yet.
