I saw Kings Kaleidoscope last night in Manchester. Very good live band. Haven’t listened to them much since 2016 (Beyond Control) so I was only familiar with four or so songs, but I enjoyed it.

Christian black metal: Second one is more subversively hipster and received more backlash, but it is more avant-garde bold, imo.
I truly do not know if I've ever made it through It's All Crazy front to back. I've tried multiple times even within the last year or so but just can't do it haha
really came to appreciate all crazy after hearing some of the songs live. i still probably reach for it least (maybe second after a-b) but i used to think it was dogshit. timothy hay always went off at the shows.
Been listening to the new ABR song the last couple days. One of my favorite songs of theirs in easily the last 3 years.
It’s my birthday today so I also listened to Brother, Sister. It’s the Brother, Sister 18th year anniversary tomorrow - 26th September 2006. Where has the time gone?! Timothy Hay is unbelievable live.
anyone remember Chris Rice? The guy who did 'The Cartoon Song?' Remembered that song today and decided to look the guy up. Turns out there were allegations about him sexually assaulting a minor while he was a worship leader at youth camps in the late 90's. Apparently the allegations are 'credible'. Won't uh, be listening to that song anymore
I'm stupid excited for John Van Deusen's new album that comes out next week. All three singles are HUGE: I've been following him for the last several years, but it wasn't until recently that I connected that he used to be in The Lonely Forest (which was a little known band that I had an affinity for). I had a similar experience a few years ago when I looked up the CCM group RAZE. Made me physically ill.
I’ve tried a few times but not managed to connect with his music. Maybe this will be the album that grabs my attention and I become a fan…?
