The holidays are never an easy time for me, and this year is no different. There’s a lot going on for me right now and I think it’s best for me to hold off on the chorus club reviews for now. My apologies to @ChaseTx for this, I haven’t been on much, if at all. I should’ve written sooner.
it's actually kind ofa relief, haha. I haven't gotten around to reviewing last week's picks and I'm pretty busy this week anyway
I’VE BEEN SLIPPING SINCE 2009 Also that song is loosely based on the Korean thriller the Wailing which I can’t recommend highly enough. It’s about hexes putting people into death throes hahaha
Death Throes / Hexes by my band, False King. One of the best parts of the Wailing is how funny it was
yeah no offense to anybody but I think we should probably drop a few repeat offenders to ensure that things go smoothly. it's all love.
I am starting to think we should take a recess next week. Or extend it to two weeks a session. Everyone seems to want to take a breather lol.
I think that seems reasonable. Two weeks will give everyone time to really absorb the albums and not feel rushed.
Yeah, 2 weeks is a lot better and gives everyone more time with albums. A lot of the albums being recommended aren't something you'll really be able to dig into with one week's time.
Honestly, after this session it may be a good idea to put this on hold until after January 1. As far as two week sessions, it’s not a bad idea but I think a 1 week session is fine if people stick with one album. Obviously some people can handle multiple albums which is fine, but there are clearly others who cannot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm definitely gonna take a break over xmas and new year as I'll be in Germany with family, so that makes sense if majority are wanting some time off for holidays and then pick it up in New Year with a two week format?
I think we should stick to the 1 week format, if you only have time for 1 only do 1. Pro Tip: Writing the reviews is easier/faster if you take some notes while listening to the rec. Edit: Unless you can't read your own writing.
