I loved the listing in that there were so many good recs, but also still so many amazing albums not said yet. I'm fine with 2 albums a week. I think that's fair though if two people want to do a few more than others. Just be conscious of getting your thoughts in by Sunday and not biting off more than you can chew that week.
I dunno...if both people are fine with 2 or 3, I don’t really see the need to limit. Also, at the start it may have been a bit confusing as to when the thoughts should be posted. Ideally everyone would have their thoughts posted prior to the pairings for the next session being announced
Glad you liked the albums @Wall Of Arms! Also you should be writing album reviews, you really captured a lot of what I love about those albums but in a way I wouldn't have been able to articulate. Looking forward to checking out your picks as well!
So this week I'll be checking out Houndmouth - Little Neon Limelight and Margaret Glaspy - Emotions and Math. @Matthewconte on the other hand will be giving RVIVR - RVIVR and Tim Barry - Rivanna Junction a spin.
I'm with @Kiana for round 3. @Kiana will listen to: Flying Lotus — Until the Quiet Comes Local Natives — Gorilla Manor I will listen to: Ibeyi — Ibeyi Natalia Lafourcade - Hasta la Raíz
Cheers mate, I really appreciate that. Genuinely made my day. I can't wait to hear what you think about the albums I sent your way! Regarding reviews: I kinda do, or did more so. I'm Kyle Huntington and used to review actively as staff at Absolutepunk (particularly UK artists) and recently wrote a review for here in case you missed it: Phoebe Bridgers - Stranger In The Alps • chorus.fm
Oh ok, I missed your Phoebe Bridgers one but I remember you from the absolutepunk days! And I'm finishing up my Idles listen now. I really loved it, I'll definitely be returning to it. I'll post more thoughts on it once I listen to the Maccabees album, probably tomorrow.
