When I first saw the post I was worried he had seen either me, @Larry David or @Colin Your Enthusiasm making fun of the band haha

So it has come to my attention via @Nate_Johnson and @teebs41 that the IP of whoever made the fake account matches one I used according to Jason.

Unfortunately this doesn’t help as I used the inbuilt VPN on the Opera web browser as I was at work, therefor the IP isn’t my own, but is based somewhere in Eastern Europe usually. Therefor I am guessing whoever did this, also used the same VPN.

I am aware that this is just my word, but as a member of this community I don’t know what else I can give you all. If you choose to still believe that it was me, then that is fine, I understand.

Hopefully though, the person who actually did this will see this and own up to it, because it has made me pretty upset to be accused by various people I felt I had actually bonded with on the website.

@Bad Frequencies if it was me, I truly would apologise, I am capable of owning my mistakes. But it wasn’t. I was only aware when I logged into the site and saw the aftermath, most of which I hadn’t really read tbh so I took it too lightly at first, making an ill advised post that it was “funny”. Reading what I can now, obviously it isn’t and I hope you are okay.

I am with @teebs41 and completely believe it was not you. It’s just bad timing and coincidence. Know that I personally consider you a dear friend and deep down knew that you were not capable of such things.

 

I still think it was the real Dustin that got banned

 

It sucks all this shit went down. This place was always fun and somewhere that everything posted was always so positive.

Whoever did this did something very shitty and it wasn’t remotely funny imo.

I’d also add I believe Sam, one he doesn’t come across as someone that’d do this and two because it would mean he was up at 3am last night which on a weeknight I’m assuming was unlikely.

 

My alibi is that I was focused on the Browns winning their first game in 21 months :P

 

Are we sure the singer wasn't in Eastern Europe at the moment and the poor bud didn't get banned?
