@bachna84 and I traded 1 album this week, and I'm glad because I listened to this album a few times. It has quite a lot going on with it. This is the album All You Can Quit by Life In Vacuum. Life In Vacuum is a math-rock/punk/hardcore band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and the music is crazy! It's like the Arctic Monkeys and The Vines combined to form this band. If the Arctic Monkeys went the opposite direction they ended up going in you would have this album. The guitars are crazy and loud and the vocals are equal to that. This album made me want to go check out their other albums, and they just released an Audiotree Live EP as well that I will definitely check out too. If you're looking for something loud, brash, and exciting, look no further than this album. It may end up being one of my favorite albums of the year. Thanks @bachna84 you picked an excellent album for me to check out and hopefully other people here will give it a listen.

A-Z Vol. 1-2 are all-timers for me, but yeah, the band's whole discography is pretty top-notch.

I've heard of the band before, but never checked them out. Looking forward to it!

 

Thanks! They were great musicians, great guys, great performers. I'll always be sad we didn't get a proper follow-up, especially since I've heard some of the demos they were working on, but Romantic Wealth still holds up extremely well in my opinion.

Reminds me of what happened to Pistolita. Great debut then they basically faded into obscurity.

 

I'm so stoked for this album. Instrumental post-rock at its finest. I might do a release day review!
