Yeah hopefully Culture Abuse will be good. Don't sleep on the new Gatherers record. @teebs41 and I are pretty stoked on that one. Comes out June 1st.

 

I’ve not heard of them before so I’ll make sure to check them out.

Listening to this right now. Pretty good alt rock with hardcore influences. I could see a lot of the folks in this thread being into this.

 

Listening now. This is awesome. Reminds me of Hands Like Houses, later Color Morale and some other bands I can't put my finger on.

 

It reminded me a bit of The Amity Affliction but maybe that’s just my subconscious since both bands are Australian

 

They have a lot more melody than the AA but I can see where they could be compared. For sure.

 

Yeah I'm not a big hardcore guy so this style of music isn't normally my thing, but I'm digging this. It has enough melody to keep me engaged.

 

Can I please be benched for a little while? I am way behind.

It would be easier to keep up with so yes more often than not i would

 

As much as I enjoy the club I do think participation might increase if we had two week sessions. It is easy to get busy for a week and fall behind, and if you aren't really committed I'm sure it starts feeling like a chore to catch up.

That being said, I also think with a two week session it would be easier to procrastinate and forget or just lose the motivation to do a review. I also suspect that for the most part if someone isn't making time for this in one week they probably won't do it in two either.
