@Patterns in Traffic have you heard Teenage Wrist? And what about Lume? Lume is good but not great. I enjoyed it but haven't gone back to it.
Did they ever say which song on the new album this applies to? I'm guessing Just Another Ghost possibly.
Lately I've been catching up on 2017 releases that i've missed and i have to say the Thousand Below record is a banger. Enjoyable from start to finish. The Love You Let Too Close by Thousand Below Edit: wouldn't mind them moving in a softer direction they pull it off nicely as evidenced by the single they released this year. A reimagined version of the track Tradition. My best discovery of the week so far along with the band Everything Everything. Tradition Reimagined - Single by Thousand Below
They haven't yet to my knowledge. I know they definitively said it wasn't "Just Another Ghost" because that was my first guess as well. Kevo and I both feel like it's "The Perfect Way To Fall Apart"
I have heard Teenage Wrist but only once so far. Need to go back to that one. Haven't heard Lume yet. It's on my list though. Say no more...
Other album i'm looking forward to that comes out tomorrow as well is Carb on Carb This is the hype thread right?
Already added it Will check out tomorrow and/or in 3-4 weeks since that seems to be how far I'm running behind on new releases. Will add this Carb on Carb release as well. Never heard of 'em
it's good stuff think lots of ppl on here will dig it Your New Favorite Band Premiere: Carb on Carb from New Zealand
I'm going to completely judge a book by its cover and check that out tomorrow. Love the album art Edit: and they worked with Chris Teti on this?! So in
Since we are essentially merging the hype thread with this one. Who else is excited about the new This Wild Life? That single is amazing.
Haven't heard the single but both of their previous albums were pretty enjoyable. Looking forward to it!
This Lume album is really interesting. It's not terribly immediate but I feel like it has a lot of hooks that just aren't in your face. Going to give it a few more listens and it seems like the kind of thing that's either going to grow on me big time or fall off immediately.
@Colin Your Enthusiasm have you heard the new Limbs album? It's a mix of DEP, ETID, etc. Some nice post-hardcore. I know you have been on a kick with that genre recently.
That Crab on Crab band sound pretty good from the track I just played, I'll have to give them a proper listen when I've got more time.
Gonna try and get this thread back on topic with the albums being reviewed lol. This is s good one I am tempted to listen to it after reading this
