I love autotune. I’m a sucker for cool effects in music and for some reason I always get a very emotional feel from autotune (maybe because of 808s and Heartbreak)

I just think about people like Frank Ocean and Sufjan Stevens who have used the effect before but clearly have nice singing voices

 

It still amazes me that Attack Attack produced two members that would go on to be the vocalists of pretty big bands in Of Mice and Men and Beartooth.

 

I totally get it. When used properly, it makes total sense but in this case it doesn't,

 

I really enjoyed the last Beartooth record.

I like T Pain. That interview where it dawned on him that his Taylor Swift collab was just used to mock hip hop and he was like omg noooo was amusing. He's a charismatic and funny guy.

Other than the odd guest appearance I don’t think I’ve ever heard a T-pain song but if he’s making comments like the above then he’s cool in my books.

Idk the live videos I've seen of skiba aren't too flattering

 

When I saw them he literally nailed it. It was like an epiphany where I went “holy shit someone can sing these songs good live?!”

 

He was good when I saw alkaline in 08 but I haven't been impressed from what I've seen of him in blink. Maybe I'll go see for myself

 

I recommend it. Skiba is amazing live especially since he’s cleaned up

 

Whoa. You went way deeper on this record than I had. May make me rethink my liking it. Glad you gave it a shot. Hopefully next time I can find something that's still out of your comfort zone but that you enjoy a bit more.

 

You know I've felt the same. Ever since he's joined Blink he's just gotten so inconsistent with his vocals. I mean he's always been inconsistent but not this bad.
