That is interesting that a good chunk of their base considers it the best. Perhaps that is just me not close to the situation haha. I will admit I probably didn’t go in with the right mindset. That’s why I wanted to do a few listens to see if the music meshed with me and that was the hurdle I never got over.

High Noon was a lot of fun!

I remember getting ATS the day it came out and totally loving it - with that being said, I'm always a fan of the more "experimental" albums that seem to come out of nowhere, and it is completely in my wheelhouse. It'll always be my favorite LP album - the first one I owned on vinyl, too!

Corey Taylor really is a good egg and I need to read his two books!

I really respect and like Corey Taylor as both a person and as a vocalist. I just wish he’d release something I find interesting again. Other than the odd song I haven’t really liked much from him since All Hope Is Gone.

Awesome reviews! I had a feeling you’d enjoy Sunbather - I think it’s a special album! You’ll probably like they rest of their discography too :)

Stone Sour’s House of Gold & Bones (Parts 1 & 2) were pretty enjoyable I thought! Worth checking out I think

I’ll definitely be giving the others a blast when I find the time to.

As far as Stone Sour, I think they’ve got a great set of songs now to do an awesome headline set I just find all their albums (apart from Come whatever may which I love) to be a bit long and I generally lose interest with them. I do think there’s some great songs across all the albums though.

Nice to see a lot of Thursday love in here. I've honestly never listened to them before, which is a bit odd because I've seen them held in a similar esteem as Thrice (which was my favourite band for many years, and still one my absolute all-time faves). Will be checking both of my recommended albums out this afternoon for the first time! @JediMasterKevo182

Are we allowed to post first impressions in here? Or save our thoughts when we "review" the album at the end of the week?

St.Anger has some good tracks but overall it's their weakest album. I saw them live in July and they didn't even touch it.
