well Identity Crisis kind of sucks, every other album if theirs is manifold better. My personal fav is Vheissu.

it's 2018 and I still don't know how you pronounce it. When I'm speaking english I usually say wheessoo, whereas in german I just call it whyssu. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wasn't really upset about the fact that you don't like them -- my girlfriend can't stand thrice -- I was merely surprised you weren't familiar with them.

 

I know who they are, and that I had heard the first album, wasn’t like I was like “oh thrice who dat”

having only listened to the first album is not too far off from "oh thrice who dat" lol

 

you'll see once you hear Vheissu haha it's like it's not even the same band anymore

 

I personally prefer TAI and Beggars but there's no denying that Vheissu is top tier Thrice

Illusion of Safety is like a better version of Identity Crisis. Artist in the Ambulance goes more mainstream and is the album that got most people in the band. And then from Vheissu onward it goes in all kinds of different directions.
