You sure can! What this is: WHAT THIS IS: Think of a book club but with music albums. Rules: Each week on Sunday night, you will be partnered with someone. The two of you will pick 1-2 albums of your choice and give them to your partner. On the following Friday-Saturday, everyone conveys back to talk about the albums and give their thoughts and so forth. The only rule really is to listen to the albums your partner assigns you. This will be a good way for everyone to be exposed to music they normally wouldn’t listen to or hadn’t gotten around to listening to. Like a music swap almost. Assignments will be randomly generated like the brackets were. Disclaimer: The only way you can turn down an album recommendation is if you have heard the album already or for due cause reasoning (I.e. that one band we won’t name that makes people sick to their stomachs now). Let’s keep it fun and civil. And keep your music suggestions to music you actually like; let’s not start recommending torturous music just for funsies
if i get an album that ive heard before but havent listened to in a really long time can i still take it and not turn it down?
Nah. There’s no rule against duplicates. For example just because @bachna84 recommended @Nate_Johnson an album doesn’t mean I’ve heard it before, and so on
Also, Wolves by SotY has been recommended like 10 times, so there's definitely no rules against duplicates.
I didn't even get the chance to recommend it before @skurt and @BTDandFeelingThis ruined the Wolves rec haha
To be fair I can’t think of any record more forgettable than relationship of command. Maybe enema of the state but that’s about it.
