Holy shit @George the There Will Be Fireworks album on your list is fucking incredible. I wish I’d heard it in ‘13. It would have done serious damage on my year end. All the crests and beauty of great post-rock, but with great vocals too. Hot damn.
So glad you liked it - it’s such a great album that I think would be beloved here if it found a bigger audience, it’s phenomenal. A big cathartic and beautiful album.
I completely forgot about that There Will Be Fireworks album. Loved it back in the day. Need to go back to it.

All of these made me particularly happy. That Cheap Trick album is probably my third favorite, but that's more about how great they are. "She's Tight" is a total favorite. Minute by Minute was absolutely on my long list, as was Calypso
The first 4 are probably “the best” but One On One and Next Position Please are the ones I listen to most. They’re like maximum Cheap Trick, them at their heavy metal beatles mad magazine best. “She’s Tight” rules, I also really love I Want You One On One If You Want My Love Saturday At Midnight EDIT: you should check out that Dwight Twilley record too if you haven’t heard it. I think it’d be up your alley. and everyone should listen to both Judee Sill albums cuz they’re unreal

I still have to hear Next Position Please. I’m a huge fan of Dream Police myself. Always felt like one of the great albums of the era. I’ve heard Sincerely by Twilley and it was awesome power-pop goodness. Definitely gonna prioritize the one on your list if it’s better. I should give Judee a shot. I remember not enjoying her “Jesus Was a Crossmaker” years ago, which I checked out because I fuckin’ LOVE the cover by The Hollies off Romany (massively underrated album, too). But that was a LONG time ago so I should go back
