Guys I know the singing is music, wtf. My percussion comment was a joke.

 

It's a little bit of both, depending on the week. I always check out the playlist whenever it's ready, and then I try to chip away at and edit comments as I listen. It really only makes sense to be listening/voting from my computer (because I don't pay for Spotify and don't want to put up with the phone app when I'm trying to keep things straight for voting), so I usually have at least some of the comments done before the last listen at the end of the window, but sometimes end up doing everything then if I haven't had time to sit and write things down.

I'd like to say that I'm always last because I have two jobs that take up a bunch of time and then need to do my other life obligations (which is true), but the real reason is that I'm a huge procrastinator and like to use all of the time available to me before clicking submit haha. For what it's worth, I definitely have the deadline in mind and am thinking about things throughout the week (my partner would confirm that I talk about this all the time)!

I never actually miss the deadline (except for that holiday song round, when I had so much going on preparing for family to visit that I got mixed up on what day it was haha)! The timing is all squared away in my head.

 

Does deep cut necessarily mean that it wasn’t a single? Because that’s now how I see it personally

 

I'm going to think on this Deep Cut round a bit, I think I have a million angles I could go but I have a few ideas....

 

in my mind, it's a song that shouldn't be immediately recognizable by the majority of people. I think singles absolutely could count if they weren't hits, that could still be a deep cut

 

Btw all I’m not as active with comments etc at the moment because I’m dealing with a health issue that makes me stay away from screens, but I’m still in this otherwise
