Some categories sound good in theory but kind of falter in execution. (I’ve seen this in a few leagues, not just here)

 

I listened on my commute this morning. even though other cars couldn't hear me, the shame I felt listening to the Say Anything, Oingo Boingo and Sublime songs made me me feel dirty.

 

This round is hard to vote for for me because all the songs I actually like have, like, fine lyrics imo?

I'm gonna assume one of them is gonna be the Bon Iver song

That's what made this round so tough to vote for - you're kind of distributing your votes between songs you like and lyrics you don't, lol. Feel like most of these songs fell into one of those two (if not both) categories, so my points were pretty spread out.

I went on a run and listened and it was honestly a fun playlist. I found a lot of songs not THAT bad in regards to lyrics. Some had some one liners or were outright silly but there were a few that stood out.

 

Also, my internet was super choppy so my votes may be off. Lol

I was at a wedding last night and Every Breath You Take came on. Can never listen to that song the same once you actually properly listen to the lyrics hey.

 

That Dirty Loops pick was such a jam, scratched an itch I didn't know I had for this type of sound.

 

I keep forgetting that no one in here likes scene music from 10-15 years ago haha

 

My pick got quite a bump at the very end!!! I was honestly surprised it was so low for a while

Seeing this so low kind made me wonder if we're all listening to the same things (or at least using the same criteria) haha
