I wrote a whole mini-essay for my song and didn’t realize the comments had a 500 character limit. Gotta break out my red pen I guess!
Submitted mine last night - this was a weirdly tough choice. Couldn’t decide whether to go with one of the bigger artists from home, to give one of the newer ones some shine, or to go full niche and pick any of the hometown heroes that burnt out before they could ever really break out. Arguably went with the most boring of the three choices, if I haven’t changed my mind in the next 15 hours I’ll just say I couldn’t help myself lol
Are we able to start the listening portion early if everyone has submitted their song? Really only asking so I can download before my flight tomorrow lmao
If I come within reach of winning this league but don’t quite scratch the top, I’ll remain regretful that I didn’t just pick a song from Dog Problems and walk away with 15 points from Steve
A lot of really good tunes on this one , I haven't really caught on to the 'strategy' of the competition side of the League yet (if there is supposed to be such a thing). For now I feel like I'm just spreading my votes out to everything I even remotely enjoy hahaha.
I recently found some live footage of the band I picked for this round. Unreal how good they sound live. Have no doubt they would've been an AP favorite if the lead singer didn't pass away and they made it out of Philly.
