Saw today that a acquaintance of mine is playing in Petey 's band for his tour, so that's pretty cool

 

Damn y’all were quick on the draw for the fall songs

 

Can we change the pace to vote once all the songs are in?

 

Yeah that went quick. I was honestly still between like 3 songs to choose but once I saw so many people had chosen I got a little spooked

 

Unfortunately it doesn't let me change the pace now that we're in it, but I changed the deadline to today so the playlist should be live soon

 

I mean not everyone will be able to listen to the playlist as fast as last time, so it’s fine I think

 

We're still locked in once a week (which we voted for) anyway, so new rounds start Friday no matter how fast votes come, so we can take our time

 

Yeah I’m saying I think that’s good, no need to rush, we’d just burn out in it

 

I was gonna pick Never Meant because I think it really might be the definitive pick, but then decided to stay in my lane, haha. I also at one point considered Monster Mash.

 

I thought Wake Me Up When September Ends might be the definitive pick, but given that it didn't make the playlist at all I think I made the right choice :D

My partner really wanted me to pick one of the songs from Gilmore Girls

 

That is a really good pick, but yeah it didn’t come cross my mind. I did think about the Dawson’s Creek theme song, haha.

 

I joined an open Beatles league where every 2 days a new round started. It was pretty intense. I won

I'm never good at leaving comments in Music League, haha. Maybe I'll try since we actually have some interaction here.

Also, I'm struggling with what to submit for this next round, there are way too many options for where I'm from.

 

There are literally no options for me haha

 

I can’t decide between “I literally went to high school with these guys” and “this is a quintessential home town song from a suburban band” - feels like a case of best theme vs best song and I can’t decide!

…especially since I have a lead to protect now ;)
