Some...interesting choices here, lol. "Tell 'Em" is a GREAT pick though. That Sleigh Bells record still kicks so much ass. I never listened to anything after that, maybe I should.
in my humble opinion, if you want to dig deeper into Sleigh Bells... quick thoughts:\ Treats - Forever will be their best Reign of Terror - Kinda a bummer of a follow-up, probably my least favorite from them Bitter Rivals - you can jump to this album, it's got some GREAT tracks Jessica Rabbit - I think this is my second favorite album from them, they expand their sound in really cool ways Texis - Forgettable, unfortunately.
This playlist is the oddest hype playlist ever. There are some head scratchers on here but some real bangers too.
I just threw it on a playlist to revisit again. I think I've listened 3-4 times and it never really made a mark for me...
Feels like their hyperpop album in a way, but you could argue they've been dabbling in hyperpop for years now. Jessica Rabbit is the one I need to go back to. Don't remember many highlights from that one
Interesting, based on critical reception I was going to check out Reign of Terror and Texis lol. But in this case, I'll probably just do chronological order and see what stands out to me after I revisit Treats.
I think this playlist might have the most little green check marks next to the songs that indicate I’ve saved them to other playlists. Big fan of a lot of this
I was between Charli XCX - Good Ones and Foxing - Nearer My God until the absolute last minute when I went with neither.
I did consider HOLIDAY for a moment when consulting my skating playlist for picks, but I honestly figured someone else would submit them and I didn’t wanna go head to head
So I was waiting for this comment - not sure how many of yall are baseball fans , but the Baltimore Orioles have overall #1 mlb prospect Jackson Holliday(son of former all-star Matt Holliday) …. And with Turnstile being a Baltimore band, I could not think of a BETTER hype/walkout song for him. would be soooo fitting.
Death Grips would have also been choice. They slipped my mind because I usually use my record collection as a reference point and don't own any of their stuff.
I originally really wanted to go with Soul Glo but wasn’t sure what the reaction would be like. Plus a good chunk of a baseball audience would probably have a huge issue with them.
there's a ton on here that are excellent choices. the warrior is honestly GOAT level for both baseball and wrestling
This is fake news! For wrestling you're getting a good chunk during the entrance (those are always way longer/drawn out than they need to be) plus more if/when you win. For baseball, I'm expecting 3-5 plate appearances per game and you can bet I'm working with the crew to ensure the right parts get played depending on the situation. Plus you might get bonus portions played depending on the outcome of the at bat. Anyway, my second choice was this:
I didn't think this necessarily had to be specific to baseball or wrestling. Just songs to walk out to at any event
