Yeah I left comments on every track because I wasn’t sure what we were doing with that Now that it’s over though - dang! The 15 point total thing was a twist I didn’t see coming. Voted somewhat conservatively this time to feel things out, but it may be more fun to make more weighted choices going forward. The notes things was also fun, I like the ability to make a case for my submission instead of just putting it out there Still can’t believe there was already another Petey song lol. Didn’t give it points since I wanted to spread my votes out and was already responsible for him being there twice - but in a round where I vote with heavier bias I’d be liable to put like 7 on it. Glad to hear they both put some people on tho. That’s my current AOTY

I definitely mentally flagged this to talk about when we get to that round, but I think in my mind I think it's best to like.... vote for what you think meets the prompt best. Like, when you see if do you agree that its's a great artist and a bad song? Like, I personally wouldn't vote for a bad song from Imagine Dragons, because I think they are bad already, but if it's an artist that I love and I also dislike the song, I'd throw my votes there...
I'm going to get flak for my song I hate from an artist I love. I know it's a pretty beloved one. Hometown band is frustrating because there were so many great local bands from my area whose music never ended up on Spotify.
Is hometown the town I live on or the one I was born in or the one I grew up in or whichever one of those I want? lol
If it's the town I live in now you're getting "Hey There Delilah" and you'll like it. Really though, any of those options works.
I don't know if there is a perfect solution here, but one idea is to submit like... a false song, then in the comment write "here is the song" and link to youtube. But then it won't be in the playlist, so it's not a great solution. I think that's totally up to you Kinda hilarious you say this because the guitarist/second singer in Plain White T's actually is from my hometown and I was in school with his sister
