I worked at Stagecoach one year and Toby Keith Keith Urban headlined, I remember that Keith Urban wasn't too bad

 

Toby Keith has some fucking bangers and was also a dumbass

And for better or worse, nothing tricked me into feeling patriotic as an 8-year-old than "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" lol

 

I remembered I needed to go back and add a description for my song.

Also, just a heads up that if you submit a Toby Keith song you will not be getting any points from me.

 

I think I will submit my song today.... I'm close to picking

 

There were a lot of ways I could have gone with this, but went for a somewhat local one.

 

Seeing a couple of my alternative picks on the playlist - good groupthink y’all. Some of these hit deep.

It was sooo hard to decide, but my other choice was Cherry Waves by Deftones. A killer bass line from Chi and one of his last with the band! I wish he were alive to see the impact Deftones (and that song specifically) have had on the next generation.

 

Reading the Frightened Rabbit mention made me feel completely brain dead. I can't believe I hadn't thought of them, and I absolutely would have used one of their songs. For some reason I had a lot of trouble thinking of deceased artists. My backup pick was going to be something from Basking in the Glow (Oso Oso).

 

I used a service this time instead of manually creating the playlist in AM, so I apologize if any are off

 

Looks like Riff Raff by AC/DC is missing, but otherwise good! Thank you for making the playlist!

I thought about choosing Floating in the Forth but that song is kinda too much for me

 

We've got two Bon Scott-era AC/DC tracks, and SMASH MOUTH - but no FRabbit. I'm kind of shocked.

 

I also can’t believe I didn’t think of Frightened Rabbit. But even if I had, I probably would’ve just assumed someone else had already beat me to it.

Went through my first listen of the playlist and allocated 22 points off the bat..... so it's gonna be hard to remove 7 points somewhere

 

I thought about putting My Backwards Walk in, but figured someone else would put it in, so went with a more local option

 

SOPHIE into Jeff Buckley into A Tribe Called Quest gave me whiplash, lol

 

These rounds are so hard to vote for. Sorry dead artist beloved by many but your song just ain’t good enough!
