@JRGComedy it's your insane username on Spotify again!! This is awesome, thanks for putting it together
Register that as an email address, memorize how to say it out loud, use it from now on when people ask what your email address is
Was happy to see some of your comments on my pick! Y’all should listen to the entire Greg Mendez album!
I just bought Nena tickets to give to my fiancée for her birthday tomorrow. Because we’re in the Netherlands and not Germany, it’s a theater instead of an arena/stadium, so that’s cool.
I never let my parents play music for me - I controlled the CD player whenever we were in the car (unless my dad was driving, in which case I had my Discman). The only song my parents introduced to me that ever stuck was Buddy Holly by Weezer, but it felt like weird timing to pick that.
LOVE the variety here.... I might just end up voting on how good of taste I think the parents of each submission have lol. Whoever picked "Golden Brown" is DEF getting some points, such a cool song.
And hence, I feel the need to write a response on all of these as well, since y'all put such thought and time into the reasons behind the selections!
I'm thinking the same thing. I only remember my parents listening to Top 40 radio. The only full albums I can really remember them listening to are Sheryl Crow and Alanis (which I almost submitted and probably would have done way better in the voting).
At first I was thinking of doing Ace of Base, Spice Girls, or Shania Twain. I’m sure they would have been fun additions but oh well now lol
Imagine a bunch of us all with cool parents that had decent to good taste in music , resulting in a bunch of us having a passion for good music and meeting on a music forum!
