Also, it’s really annoying that Spotify adds songs to the playlist

 

Just so I understand, when does voting end and the next round begins? Is it one round per month?

 

This seems like some kind of glitch. The songs listed on the voting page should match the playlist. I've heard of songs being on the voting page, but not on the Spotify playlist (usually if they are not on Spotify in the listener's region), but never the other way around!

 

I don’t use Spotify and find it quite annoying in general. I also use the free version so I’m sure there is not much I can do.

 

Yeah, if you're using the free version it is probably just playing whatever the hell it wants haha

I don't use Spotify either, I go to the voting page to get the playlist and recreate it in YouTube Music so I can listen.

Free spotify adds extra songs. I go by the voting page and listen individually typically, or wait for the apple music playlist to drop

 

This first round is extra long so people can take their time over the holidays. After that it's a new playlist every week. I believe the league page has dates when each round goes live.

 

I pay for Spotify and have never encountered any of these issues - the playlist and voting page match up perfectly and sequenced correctly every time. Definitely a free version thing

 

Dang yeah I never knew that was something that happens with the free version

 

If you listen on a web browser instead of on the app, it should give you the correct playlist without any extra songs.

I am having a lot of fun with this and joined a couple of other leagues and everyone is very pleasant for the most part and will gracefully bow out if it’s not for them. That is up until recent: encountered a person who was doubling down on supporting terrible bands and went so far as to tell me to fuck off and called me a teenager. It was inevitable but still not warranted.

 

I always find it funny when people get worked up over such small things like that, then also realize it's just sad

 

Oh, then the person left the group. They weren’t even the person that posted the song. That person left too! Haha

I was between three songs, and only one of them was overtly about the theme, but I’m pretty confident someone else will choose so I decided to go with something a little less obvious. Hopefully it works out better for me than Joyce Manor, haha.
