If I were voting, it'd be for bobsheiskawy's suggestion. 48hrs feels like plenty of time to submit a song, and with the sharp increase in members recently it would be nice to have that extra day to get through the playlist
OK so in theory, everyone would need their song to be submitted by Saturday morning, let's say 10am or whatever, and then everyone has to listen and vote by Thursday morning. We would all have Thursday and Friday to pick our next song and submit, I think that makes sense. If anyone hates that, let me know.

Stoked we’re getting started, this patch of months when new releases are the slowest is my favorite time to be doing this I think. Excited to see what the other round themes are
Alright the round are SET, take a look, as voted by the crew. It took me forever, but I was able to have the winter round last 2 weeks instead of one, since we have the holidays etc. The app is super finickey, so if I even touch anything it might revert back and change things up, which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but I like the 2 week round so no one misses deadlines. I'm excited for this season, it's greatest hits babyyyyy
It may have happened to a few people who submitted early. The leagues are auto-set to letting each user choose if their description is seen before or after the votes. I updated it to "all comments seen before voting" like we always do after the league was live, so maybe the setting deleted early comments
So how does this work? I just give more votes to the songs I like? I’ve never been in a music league before
Yep, basically everyone has a bank of votes that they can distribute as they see please. All to one son? Sure, go for it! Spread them out pretty evenly because you love the whole playlist? Sure! Whatever floats your boat. We tend to like reading comments too, so if something on the playlist speaks to you, let us know!
It might be a little different round to round, but I usually distribute votes based on how well the songs fit the theme (and also whether or not I like each song)
My system is typically one point if I like the song, another if I think it's a good fit, another if I think it's a great fit, and a fourth if it's form an artist I'm not familiar with and makes me want to check out more from them
