Hahah, I realized after posting that that I think someone else may have voted too since I looked last night (though yeah I do normally peep it a couple times a day lol). It seemed pretty even before but that top song pulled far ahead!

 

Hate to do it, but I got pulled into a surprise half-day meeting and may need an extension on this one - gonna do my best to get it done in the next two hours though

Had a tough time with that round! Tried to go with something that definitely no one besides a kid would be listening to, but that wasn’t explicitly children’s music - just primarily described as it. Wound up with Aaron’s Party because it’s a hip hop song performed by a kid that is about kids doing things that kids do lol

 

Supernova Girl from Zenon would have killed in that round

 

I was fed a YouTube video yesterday of Conan on some podcast attempting to guess the plots of Disney Channel Original Movies based on their posters, and had the same realization re: Supernova Girl. Also Conan beefed with the song over the lack of symmetry in three “zooms” and two “booms”, which made me laugh

 

Disney related, one of my alt picks was Get A Clue, by the animated band Simon & Milo, the theme from the Lindsay Lohan/Brenda Song movie of the same name. But it felt too niche lol

 

I remember this song lol, would have gone nuts

 

If I hadn't already submitted it for another round, I would've jumped at the opportunity to use this and give myself a reason to listen to it (as if I need to justify pressing play again haha):

If a song was used in a previous season it notifies you, right? I can't remember if the song I want to use was in a previous season. May just have to think of another one

 

It notifies you if you used the song previously, but not just if the song was used before by anyone

Every song previously used in the league has been mentioned in here before, so if you type the song and/or artist name into the thread search feature (top right corner on mobile) it will come up if it’s been used!

 

We've also played so much now that a little repeat might not be a big deal or noticed

 

I waffled between a lot of options for this round and I'm still not entirely confident
